This month we wanted to spotlight Dr. Cindy McCauley, DVM. Cindy is currently one of our brides and someone every pet owner needs to know. Dr. Cindy McCauley is the current practice owner and medical director of the Animal Emergency Center of West Houston. She received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M in 1995 and her undergraduate degree in Veterinary Science in 1991. She has 11 years of experience in Animal Emergency Medicine, and is going strong. Her compassion for her work showed when we recently needed a second opinion for our 15 year old cat, regarding her thyroid treatment. Cindy openly heard our concerns and confidently placed our mind at ease regarding possible treatment options for our cat. Cindy is a caring and sincere person who cares about people and their pets.

We recently experienced the passing of Lisa’s great aunt, Aunt Betty. It was a peaceful end to a beautiful life which included assisted living, skilled nursing and then hospice care. It was a difficult experience to witness, but unfortunately is a part of life. As we prepared for Aunt Betty’s celebration of life arrangements, we witnessed the out pouring support from fellow wedding vendors who assisted the family with the funeral details. I would like to thank, Rev Terry Thompson, Ann Whittington, Plants N Petals, Marshall Maxwell, John Gearhart, Nancy Curtis Hairell, and Geo. H. Lewis for a beautiful service. When the call came, you answered and delivered beyond our expectations. Thank you.

Last night we attended a fun event! We were invited to attend Aztec’s 25th year in business celebration. It was also a grand re-opening party since much of their offices and warehouse were destroyed due to Ike. They now have a fabulous open concept showroom with display cases to show off place settings, glassware and a vast assortment of linens. We even had a tour of their warehouse which holds their vast inventory of every size table you can imagine, chivari chairs in a vast assortment of colors, specialty seating, chandeliers, and AC/heating units. Basically you dream it and they pull it together. Even if you need help with concept design for a reception or an intimate party, they can pull that all together for you. They also displayed their fresh new ideas for tenting, flooring and Décor. It was a fun event and we all had a great time socializing with other vendors.

Below is a Corporate Portrait which will appear on the cover of a national trade magazine. Their marketing department and I conceptualized this location around the article about the company.
