How much is the Houston family photographer session fee?
Our session fee cost varies depending on your needs. On a discovery call, we can understand which session type is the best fit for you. Our clients invest anywhere between $1500 to $10,000 and more, depending on taste and budget. A luxury investment demands a luxury experience, and with Michael Carr Photography, that’s exactly what you get.
What days and times are available for my session?
Houston professional photography sessions are scheduled Tuesdays-Fridays. Sessions may be scheduled between 9:30am-4:30pm, and are by appointment only. We do offer portrait sessions on Saturdays, and some evening time slots. Please ask for details.
How do I book my session?
Call the studio 713-461-2862 and we can help you with this and with what to wear.. To book your session a non-refundable session retainer equal to the session fee is required to secure your session time. Sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled up to 48 hours (2 business days) before your session without incurring a charge.
What should I wear for a family portrait session?
We recommend wearing coordinated outfits in neutral or soft tones that complement each other without matching exactly. Avoid busy patterns, logos, or bright neon colors. Our studio will guide you with a full wardrobe consultation to ensure your family looks polished and timeless.
How far in advance should I book a Houston family photographer?
We recommend booking your Houston family photography session at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance. Our calendar fills quickly, especially during peak seasons, so reserving early ensures you get the best availability.
Do you offer wall art and framed portraits?
