We kindly request that you opt for formal attire when requesting a formal family portraits. We recommend dark-colored, solid tops and shirts with long sleeves to keep the spotlight on your family’s facial expressions.
For our formal studio family portrait sessions, consider the following attire suggestions:
Men: Dark Jackets (tuxedo or suit), white shirt, tie, and dark pants.
Ladies: Dark (black, navy, burgundy, dark green, etc.) dress or gown with little to no pattern. Classic jewelry such as diamonds and pearls are encouraged.
Young Girls: Dark or jewel-toned solid dresses, but ivory, cream, or off-white are acceptable for those aged 4 or under. Long sleeves are recommended for adults, while girls typically prefer short or no sleeves.
